February's Recipe

A wonderful recipe for that winter dessert, maybe share it with a loved one for Valentines Day.

Bananas Foster

2 Ripe Bananas, peeled and sliced
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp butter
4 tbsp brown sugar
dash cinnamon
2-4 tbsp rum (your favorite brand)
2 servings vanilla ice-cream

Brush bananas with lemon juice. Melt butter and sugar in a pan. When melted and bubbly, add bananas, saute until tender. Pour rum over bananas and ignite with a flame immediately (be very careful not to get burned). Once the flame has gone out serve over ice-cream.

Note: If using matches use the long fireplace ones.
You can also choose not to flame your bananas just stir, serve and enjoy
